Oh, wait. We lost in 2004...even though we were definitely going to win because an incumbent president with approval ratings under 50 NEVER wins re-election. Plus, who would ever vote for George Bush twice?
Never learning any lessons, Democrats are measuring the Speakers office for curtains. Rahm Emanuel seems to be the only one acting like a grownup.
As much as everyone believes it's a done deal for the Democrats,
I wouldn't discount the Democrat's ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
