When Will Sarah Palin Talk to the Press?
"Who cares?" asked Nicole Wallace, McCain Campaign Strategist (and formerly a top figure from the Bush-Cheney reelection campaign). This was in answer to Time's Washington Bureau Chief Jay Carney. Mr. Carney asked "Can Sarah Palin answer tough questions about foreign and domestic policy?".According to Nicole Wallace of the McCain campaign, the American people don't care whether Sarah Palin can answer specific questions about foreign and domestic policy. According to Wallace-- in an appearance I did with her this morning on Joe Scarborough's show -- the American people will learn all they need to know (and all they deserve to know) from Palin's scripted speeches and choreographed appearances on the campaign trail and in campaign ads.

Sarah Palin is applying for the 2nd most powerful position in the world. Given John McCain's age, it's not out of the realm of possibility that she would end up with the top job. As one of her potential employers, I think I have a right to see what she's capable of.
